Fair Housing Policy

dwelld is committed to fair housing. We do not tolerate content that discriminates against — or steers people toward or away from a property or neighborhood based on — any protected class, including race, color, religion, national origin, sex, familial status, disability, and any other class protected under the federal Fair Housing Act or applicable state and local law.

dwelld is public-only: observations, questions, forecasts, and signals are visible to everyone, and there is no private messaging or user-to-user contact channel. Because every contribution is public, these fair housing standards apply to everything you submit.

When sharing observations, discussion, questions, or forecasts, do not:

• Reference the protected characteristics of residents, neighbors, or a community;
• Indicate a preference, limitation, or steering (for example, “good or bad for [group]” or “you’d fit in better elsewhere”);
• Use coded or indirect language to signal the demographic makeup of an area.

Focus on the property and verifiable, non-discriminatory characteristics — condition, amenities, noise, traffic, schools as facilities, parks, and transit.

• Independent screening. Every submission with free text is checked by an automated review and by a separate, deterministic Fair Housing detector. Content is withheld if either flags a potential violation — Fair Housing compliance never relies on automated judgment alone.
• Fail-closed. If automated screening is unavailable, content is held rather than published.
• Action and record. Violations are held, hidden, or removed, and every screening decision is logged for compliance review.
