dwelld Signal Quality Standards
Effective date: June 19, 2026
dwelld is a real estate intelligence platform. These standards keep the platform trustworthy, useful, and compliant. They apply to everything you contribute — observations, questions, discussion, price forecasts, and media — all of which is public.
dwelld is public-only. There is no private messaging, private chat, private profiles, or any user-to-user contact channel, and there is no private contributor visibility — every contribution is visible to everyone, attributed only by the public display name and perspective you choose.
1. Signal Over Noise
dwelld moderates for signal quality, not viewpoint. Our goal is to protect the quality of the intelligence around a property while preserving viewpoint diversity. All honest perspectives are welcome:
- Positive opinions are allowed.
- Negative opinions are allowed.
- Bullish opinions are allowed.
- Bearish opinions are allowed.
Content is moderated only when it reduces intelligence quality, including:
- Personal attacks
- Harassment
- Discrimination
- Spam
- Trolling
- False or misleading submissions
- Non-constructive criticism
- Repetitive, low-signal content
2. Allowed Contributions
Contributions that strengthen the signal are always welcome:
- Genuine, first-hand observations about a property or its surroundings.
- Honest questions the listing does not answer.
- Respectful discussion and price forecasts with your reasoning.
- Photos and media you have the right to share.
3. Content That May Be Held For Review
Some contributions are temporarily withheld from public view while they are assessed. While held, content is not publicly visible.
- Content flagged by automated screening or by contributor reports.
- Ambiguous language that may implicate Fair Housing.
- Unverified claims that could mislead other contributors.
- Content awaiting screening when automated review is unavailable.
4. Content That May Be Removed
Content that breaks the rules may be removed from public view:
- Fair Housing violations or steering (see Section 6).
- Harassment, hate, threats, or defamation.
- Impersonation, fake perspectives, or attempts to manipulate forecasts and signals.
- Spam, duplicate posting, or off-platform solicitation.
- Sharing or requesting private contact information.
- Illegal content or media you do not have the right to share.
5. Account Restrictions
When contributions repeatedly reduce signal quality, dwelld may apply escalating, proportionate measures to an account:
- Warning — notice that contributions are not meeting the guidelines.
- Restrict Contributions — limits on what the account can post.
- Account Suspended — contribution access is paused.
- Restore Account — access is reinstated after review.
6. Fair Housing Compliance
dwelld is a public-only platform committed to Fair Housing. Never reference or target protected classes, and never steer anyone toward or away from a property or area based on who lives there. See our Fair Housing Policy for the full standard.
7. Reporting & Review
Use the report control on any contribution and choose a reason. Reports help prioritize review, and content that accumulates enough reports is automatically hidden pending assessment. If your content was actioned and you believe it was a mistake, you can request a review by emailing legal@dwelld.com.
